Hey Guys! It’s been a crazy week to say the least. I went to some fabulous shows and events for NYFW. This Fashion Week I focused on attending shows I have a personal connection to by only seeing the designers I admire, wear or work with as a fit model. It’s all overwhelming when you get invites to all these shows and events but after attending New York Fashion Week for the past 8 plus years, I decided this was the best use of my time and what you as my followers would appreciate.
Marissa Webb is seriously bad a$$. She is inspiring as a person and sooo talented. I’m a huge fan of hers, she is an FIT alumni just as myself and her shows never disappoint. I own a few pieces that I’m obsessed with (did you see my Instagram last night rocking this Marissa Webb green dress/jacket? It’s to die for!).
Her collection was filled with lace, lots of beautful colors and military inspired pieces that are my personal fav. Marissa Webb stays true to her aesthetic, which is so refreshing. Her pieces are chic and feminine but have an edge to them which incorporates that perfect mixture of hard and soft.
I wear lots of neutrals and have been adding army green into my wardrobe for a while now that it’s quickly becoming my new neutral. I think it pairs so well with everything else in my closet such as black, white and nude. The military inspired trend is everywhere for Fall. When I saw this two piece set, 3.1 Phillip Lim pants with an apron skirt, I thought they were so cool and swagged out. When I tried them on, I fell in love! These pants are very unique so I thought Fashion Week was the perfect time to debut them. I also love that I can wear these pants without the skirt for a completely different look. I styled this #OOTD with an A.L.C. crop top, my new Aquazzura heels and my Chanel boy bag.

This Fashion Week I got to meet some amazing people and bloggers that I know via Instagram and it was so fab getting to know them in person. This picture of Erica, Holly and I was taken right before we went into the show at Milk Studios.
Stay tuned for more NYFW looks. Have a great day and thanks for stopping by:) xoxo
