Hey Guys! Adrian and I partnered with Express to showcase what we wear to celebrate a special occasion. As many of you know we celebrated our 3 year anniversary on May 4th. Adrian surprised me with tickets to the New York City Ballet at Lincoln Center. I’ve been dying to see the show and it was amazing to say the least. I highly recommend it! The ballet is one of the best things to do in NYC that’s not to be missed. It was romantic, emotionally moving and one of my favorite date nights ever. I also love any excuse to get dressed up to do something fun with my love.
Express has such a great selection for any special occasion. I particularly love their wedding and guest of wedding options. I saw so many great dresses at unbelievable price points. It was so easy to shop online for dresses and equally easy to shop for suits for men. Adrian loved that Express carried different fits. He loves slim fitting suits and Express has 3 different options. He went with the most narrow fit, the Skinny Innovator, and loves it.
Lace is having a major moment in fashion right now and the minute I saw this Express black crocheted lace dress, I just knew I wanted to rock it. I love everything about it…the length, the fit and the lace detailing that is so on point. This dress made me feel confident and sexy, which was perfect for this occasion. This is a statement dress that looked super chic and perfect for the Ballet! I was so impressed with the price point as well for the quality and intricate detailing of it. I will definitely be wearing this dress again for another special occasion.
I styled the dress with Express nude sandals, that are wardrobe must-haves. These shoes will literally go with anything and I actually wore them for a long period of time with no issues. Comfort is everything!
I accessorized with my new red vintage Chanel bag that Adrian gifted me for our anniversary so it was so fitting to wear for this date night. I love adding a POC to any look especially when I’m wearing black because it makes the color stand out. I also wore these cute, simple Express earrings that come in a pack of three. The ones I wore were straight bars that worked perfectly with my dress.
Adrian looked so handsome in a fitted Express blue suit (I’m biased…I think he looks handsome all the time!). This Skinny Innovator suit is the perfect weight for all seasons and the color is such a beautiful blue. What he loved most about this suit was the fit. He typically gets his suits tailored so for him to buy an off the rack suit, it needs to fit perfectly. Express has options for different lengths, which he loved as well. Shorter lengths are so on trend especially for Summer so he went with these Express pants slightly on the shorter side. He styled the suit with a perfect Express white shirt and fun socks for a little POC. He paired his go-to dress shoes by Ferragamo.

I loved shooting with Adrian. We had the best time:) After the Ballet we went to dinner at Estiatorio Milos, which is one of our favorite restaurants in NYC. The food is right up our alley with tons of fresh seafood and veggie options. It’s like eating in Greece, which reminds us of our 1 year anniversary trip when we visited Santorini and Mykonos.
Thanks for stopping by. Hope you have a great week:)
xoxo, Lisa
