Hey Guys! Happy Friday:) It’s officially Fall and I must say I’m so excited because Fall fashion is my absolute favorite. The 70s style is really taking over with flared jeans, wide leg pants, turtlenecks, suede, etc. For Day 4 of NYFW I decided to break out these old Derek Lam jeans from 2011 that I never wore. I styled my 70s look with this crop knit cami, which is in one of my favorite colors for Fall. I paired my gold Dior sunnies and nude Aquazzura shoes to complete the look. I loved this outfit! I think it was my favorite along with the swagged out pants I wore on Day 1.
For Day 4 of New York Fashion Week I attended the Tommy Hilfiger show and the Houghton show. Tommy Hilfiger’s show was like being transported on a vacation. The music was so on point with the carribean jams. At one point I got teary eyed because the music reminded me of my Wedding, which was in Anguilla. The show was more like a production with the set design, the Jamaican influences everywhere and sand on the ground surrounding the lagoon where my girl crush Gigi Hadid strutted her stuff.
I had to quickly change in the car into one of Houghton’s designs because I only had about 30 minutes to make it to the show. I’ve been Houghton’s fit model for over 2 years and I just can’t say enough about Katherine, the designer behind the brand. She is uber talented, so bada$$ and has been nothing but a pleasure to work for. I LOVE everything about her Spring 2016 collection. All the looks were paired with converse sneakers, which is so the Houghton girl. I can’t wait to start fitting the collection:)
